Logistics Program Manager

Sandy offers over 28 years of experience in the Shipbuilding Industry directly attributed to serving 17 years in the United States Navy as a Machinist Mate First Class (Surface Warfare).  Sandy served aboard USS Vulcan (AR-5), USS Saratoga (CV-60), USS Garcia (FF-1040), and USS Frank Cable (AS-40). As a Logistics Program Manager (LPM) for CHAND, Sandy’s responsibilities include leading roles in planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling the entire project assigned.  He is responsible for the project budget and ensuring the tasks are executed per the requirements of the contract. As the LPM, Sandy plays a key role in contracts and customer negotiations.   Prior to serving as an LPM, Sandy was a Master Instructor for USCG 154’s “Sentinel Class” Fast Response Cutter (FRC) program for 5 years.  In addition, Sandy served as the LPD Class Program Configuration, Test, and Design Manager on the Government Test Team for NSWC Port Hueneme and the Lead Test Development Coordinator for New Construction LPD Program.  Sandy is currently the LPM for the USS Constellation (FFG-62) at Fincantieri Marinette Marine (FMM) and USCG FRC Program for Bollinger Shipyards Lockport New Construction (BLN).
