The US Navy Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) provides the base for conducting operations using the crew and systems contained in mission packages.
At 378’ overall, the LCS achieves its design speed of 45 knots using a combined diesel and gas power plant (main propulsion diesel engines and propulsion gas turbines).
Services include Program Management; Sustainment Support; and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). ILS functions include provisioning; technical manuals. Technical manuals include Equipment Technical Manuals (development and maintenance); custom developed technical manuals (including Damage Control (DC) Book, Cutter Information Book (CIB), Technical Repair Standards (TRS), and Specialized System Manuals); provisioning; and Training.
