The Ship to Shore Connector (SSC) will provide joint expeditionary forces the capability to achieve ship-to-shore transport of forces and other amphibious operations (humanitarian, etc.) launched or supported from sea.
The SSC is an air cushion vehicle providing high speed, over the horizon, heavy lift capability to transport personnel, equipment, and material for the United States Marine Corps’ Marine Expeditionary Brigade.
Services include Program Management; and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). ILS functions include Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) development; Total Ownership Cost Analysis and Reduction Recommendations; Provisioning; Configuration Management (CM); Validation and Verification of Craft Configuration Items; Vendor Furnished Information (VFI) Collection and Processing for Prime CHAND; and Subject Matter Expert (SME) Inputs for Technical Manual (TM) Development.
