T-ATS is a Multi Mission Common Hull Platform based on commercial offshore Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessels. It has a large, unobstructed deck which allows for the embarkation of a variety of standalone/interchangeable systems.
T-ATS is able to support current missions including towing, salvage, rescue, oil spill response, and humanitarian assistance. Detail Design & Construction Contract for the T-ATS was awarded to Gulf Island Shipyards, LLC (Now Bollinger Houma Shipyard) on 16 March 2018 based on the Wartsila VS 4612 Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel design.
