Mark offers over 3 decades of experience in Government and Commercial Marine Contracts from Acquisition to Lifecycle Sustainment for Military and Commercial Vessels. Prior to becoming CHAND’s Bids and Proposal Manager, Mark began his career at CHAND in 1991 as a leader in supporting our Military Aftermarket Sales as a Pricing Analyst. His focus has always been on providing a fair and reasonable price in order to meet our customer’s needs.
As Bids and Proposal Manager, Mark plays a vital role in contracts bidding and negotiations as well as leads the CHAND team to new business opportunities and relationships. The majority of Mark’s experience is directly attributable to Program Management in support of Government Contracts and Supply Chain Management in Government Commercial marine repair parts, tools, and outfit materials for newly constructed vessels. His experience includes operations management, cost and schedule control, financial and contract administration, specification review and preparation, and estimating. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Minor in Computer Science from Nicholls State University. He also maintains Level I and Level II RCM Certifications.
