Richard offers over 3 decades of experience in Government and Commercial Marine Contracts in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). He began his career at CHAND as a Provisioning Analyst in 1990, shortly after graduating from Nicholls State University with his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Through the years, Richard has become a respected leader of the company and he has been at the helm of several major projects for CHAND. In May 2019, Richard was promoted to the position of Senior Program Manager, where he currently manages the CHAND Logistics Program Manager Team and interfaces directly with our customers in order to meet their expectations.
In addition to his role in Program Management, Richard plays a key role in the CHAND IT infrastructure. He oversees the day-to-day operations of our IT and software applications. Additionally, he manages the CHAND IT staff as we ensure employee IT needs is met. Richard’s highest accomplishment as part of the IT Group was the development (and later upgrade) of our in-house Supply Support software (CAPPS® – Computer-Aided Parts Procurement System). He also maintains his Level I and Level II RCM Certifications.
