Roy offers over 4 decades of experience in the Shipbuilding Industry with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College – Jackson County Campus. Roy joined the CHAND Team in 2010 as a leader in the Marine Industry. Prior to joining CHAND, Roy worked in various positions including Quality Control Test Coordinator, Pre-Fabrication Coordinator, Manager Radiological Specialists, Refueling Ship Superintendent, and Refueling Training Coordinator. As a Logistics Program Manager (LPM), Roy is responsible for managing the project budget and ensuring the tasks are executed per the requirements of the contract. Roy is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in his field of expertise, a respected leader, and a trusted mentor.
In addition to Roy’s expertise, he holds RCM Level I and Level II Certifications. Roy is the LPM for both the US Navy Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) and Multi-Mission Surface Combatant (MMSC) programs built at Fincantieri Marinette Marine (FMM).
