Logistics Program Manager

Sal offers over 3 decades of experience in Government and Commercial Marine Contracts in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) including several disciplines and various levels of functional and program management.  He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Louisiana Tech University and he holds RCM Level I and Level II Certifications.    Sal joined CHAND in 2013 and currently holds the position of Logistics Program Manager (LPM).  He is responsible for managing the project budget and ensuring the tasks are executed per the requirements of the contract. 

Sal began his career as a Provisioning Analyst eventually becoming Life Cycle Engineering Manager, overseeing the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RM&A) functions, and then further developing his career to becoming the LPM for the LPD 17 Program. Sal’s expertise in leadership and vendor negotiations has proven to be vital to the success of meeting our customer requirements and performance schedules. Sal is currently the LPM for the US Navy Navajo-Class (T-ATS) Towing, Salvage, and Rescue Ship, Program in support of Bollinger Houma Shipyard.
