Scott brings over 3 decades of experience in the Marine Field and Training Instruction directly attributed to his 24 years of service in the U.S. Coast Guard. During his military career, Scott served as Executive Officer, Department Head, and Instructor. His career saw many shipboards and Search and Rescue (SAR) unit assignments. Scott was instrumental in the early development of the USCG’s Boat To Boat Tactics Course and trained over 150 crewmembers in these critical techniques. In addition, he has provided personal defensive tactics training to U.S. Coast Guard Law Enforcement Officers during his service. Scott joined the CHAND Team in 2011 and became CHAND’s Training Manager in February 2014. Through his leadership, he has delivered over 45 U.S. Coast Guard 154 ft. Sentinel Patrol Boat Training Courses as well as developed training programs for numerous Government and Commercial Marine Contracts.
